Responsible and accountable for the profitable growth of the Advanced Wound Management Division in the Country. The role requires origination and execution of marketing plans, product launch programs, identification of market and segment trends, specifications of new products and enhancements and promotional programs for products which meet the needs of customers. Development and growth will be achieved through comprehensive product, pricing, promotional and distribution strategy development and execution as well as, a close working relationship and clear leadership role with the Sales and Distribution Teams.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Develops a comprehensive plan for the Advanced Wound Management products to include all launch and promotional activities, forecasting responsibilities, pricing strategies, budget projections, competitive intelligence, market research, sales force communication and sales monitoring. Works closely with Sales to develop annual sales and expense budget. Manage budget through evaluation and adjustment as needed. Develops product strategies and controls both product mix and pricing to achieve planned sales and profitability. Manages Key Opinion leader program. Develops communication and in-market programs to promote recognition of the focus brands or other assigned brands. Monitors and analyzes sales and profitability and identifies and exploits opportunities for improvement. Provides accurate demand and sales forecasts by working closely with operations. Acts as expert on competitive issues. Analyzes product position, messaging, programs and strategic direction. Provides educational and tactical support to sales and other departments to manage competitive threats / opportunities. Identifies and analyzes new product and service opportunities and provides development briefs to the sales teams. Recommends improvements or modifications to existing line by maintaining close contact with key customers and sales force. Ensures that new products and line extensions are introduced to the market successfully. Provides support and product training for sales, customer care and key customers. Provides interface to GBU for future opportunities, including forecasting and market trend information. |

Bachelor's degree with major in marketing. Master's degree in Business Administration or related area is preferred.
Eight years of progressive medical marketing experience and responsibility in Advanced Wound Management or a combination of marketing and sales management experience is essential.
A proven proficiency in finance, which includes a comprehensive understanding of the medical device industry.
The ability to communicate clearly, effectively and concisely to a variety of audiences and good relationship building skills.
Must be able to embrace the Chinese culture in terms of approach and attitude.
Must be able to travel extensively within China . |
